Vaccination

It is easier to prevent infectious diseases than to treat them when It might be too late, and endanger the lives of animals. Vaccination brings an easy solution to this problem.

Only healthy animals (i.e. without clinical symptoms) can be vaccinated. If the pet has ticks, fleas and so on, it must be treated with special medication first.

Prior to vaccination, deworming should be carried out.

For prophylactic purposes in adult animals, deworming is carried out once every three months and in puppies and kittens once in 40-45 days up to 8-9 months.

Vaccination of puppies:

The first vaccination is carried out in 6-9 weeks, re-vaccination is carried out in 2-4 weeks, depending on the vaccine.

Vaccination of kittens:

The first vaccination performed at the age of 9-12 weeks. The second vaccination is carried out in 2-3 weeks more. It is important to know that vaccination of kittens under the age of 2 months is not effective. It is thought to be the result of the maternal passive immunity being still in effect.

Vaccination of adult animals:

It is held once a year. Immunity is formed 2 weeks after vaccination.

After vaccination, the veterinarian monitors the animal in order to effectively deal with cases of allergic reactions.

The animals are issued a passport, where all vaccinations are recorded (the series of vaccinations used, the day of vaccination), preventive measures against ecto-and endoparasites, drug and food allergic reactions.

Diseases that are vaccinated against:

  • Dogs — rabies, leptospirosis, distemper, parvovirus enteritis, infectious hepatitis, adenovirus, parainfluenza, coronavirus, bordetellosis.
  • Cats — rabies, panleukopenia, calcivirosis, viral rhinotracheitis, chlamydia.

In addition, we perform vaccination against ringworms (trichophytia and microporia).
